Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PDFBaba ("PDFBaba," "we," "us," or "our"), including the website at pdfbaba.com and related online PDF tools (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of the Service

PDFBaba offers browser-accessible tools to merge, split, convert, compress, edit, and otherwise process PDF and related files. Features and limits may vary by tool and may change over time. Many tools do not require an account. Processing may occur on our servers or in your browser as described on each tool page.

Eligibility

You represent that you are legally able to enter into these Terms and that your use of the Service complies with applicable law. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Upload, process, or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, fraudulent, or that violates the rights of others.
• Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful code, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service or our systems.
• Use the Service to violate export controls, sanctions, or other applicable regulations, or to process classified or restricted materials without authorization.
• Scrape, automate, or overload the Service in a way that impairs availability for others, except as expressly permitted by us in writing.
• Misrepresent your identity, impersonate others, or use the Service to send spam or unsolicited bulk communications.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these rules or pose a risk to the Service or other users.

Your content and license to us

You retain ownership of documents and files you submit. To operate the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display your content solely to provide the requested tools and as described in our Privacy Policy. When processing completes and retention periods expire, we delete or overwrite files as stated in the Privacy Policy and on each tool page.

Intellectual property (PDFBaba)

The Service, including its design, branding, logos, and software (excluding your content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials except as allowed by these Terms or with our prior written consent.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

PDF tools may alter formatting, layout, or accessibility of documents. Outputs may not match every viewer or downstream system. The Service does not provide legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice. You are responsible for verifying results before relying on them for compliance, filing, litigation, or business decisions.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL PDFBABA OR ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US TO USE THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (TYPICALLY ZERO FOR FREE USE) OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100), EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PDFBaba and its operators, affiliates, and personnel from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Third-party services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (for example, Google Analytics or Google AdSense). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party practices.

Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. We will post updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the Service where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or harms the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will survive termination.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise. You agree that courts located in the United States will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have under local law to bring claims in your home jurisdiction.

General

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on this subject. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale of assets.
