PDF permission editor

Encrypt with AES-256 and set printing, copying, editing, and form rights separately from passwords.

Why use PDF permission editor?

Some teams need more than a single open password—they need to allow printing but block edits, or permit forms but not content changes. The permission editor pairs AES encryption with granular flags and optional separate user and owner passwords. This is advanced territory: misconfigured rights confuse recipients. PDFBaba offers the tool online without signup, with short file retention. Document your password policy internally, and test the output in the same PDF readers your audience uses.

Supported files & limits

One PDF; configure AES encryption and permission flags. The default upload limit is 100MB per file; administrators can raise or lower this via server configuration. Intended for users who understand owner vs user passwords.

Privacy & data retention

PDFBaba is built for quick tasks: your uploads and generated downloads are kept only long enough to process your request and are automatically deleted after about one hour. We do not require signup for these tools, and we do not use your documents to train AI models. For full details on cookies, analytics, and legal terms, read our Privacy Policy.
