Why use PDF to CSV?
Operations teams sometimes receive “tables” that only exist as PDF layout. Heuristic extraction turns positioned text into rows for spreadsheets, but messy layouts require human review. PDFBaba’s CSV export is best-effort: always open the file in Excel or Sheets and confirm columns. Text-layer PDFs work far better than raw scans; OCR may be a prerequisite. No signup is required, and uploads are not kept forever—expect about one hour of retention. Treat the CSV as a starting point, not a perfect database dump.
Supported files & limits
One PDF with a text layer. The default upload limit is 100MB per file; administrators can raise or lower this via server configuration. Table extraction is heuristic—review the CSV in Excel or Sheets for complex layouts.
Privacy & data retention
PDFBaba is built for quick tasks: your uploads and generated downloads are kept only long enough to process your request and are automatically deleted after about one hour. We do not require signup for these tools, and we do not use your documents to train AI models. For full details on cookies, analytics, and legal terms, read our Privacy Policy.
